Roman numerals change the character
Brown dial, rose gold-plated case, and the same 40 mm proportions as the rest of our replica Rolex Day-Date 228235 listings. What separates this one from the baton-marker chocolate dial is the numerals: large applied Romans at the hour positions fill the face and make the watch read older and more formal. The sunburst finish still shifts from warm brown to near black as you turn your wrist, and the day is written out in full at 12 o’clock.

Which caliber to order
The Japanese version uses a Miyota-based automatic with about 40 hours of running time, a quickset date and around 15 to 20 seconds of drift a day. The Swiss version follows the 3235-type layout, runs at 28,800 vph, stores about 70 hours and holds 5 to 8 seconds a day. Both are self-winding and both drive the day and date. Prices for this listing start at $249, and bank transfer or crypto payment takes 10 or 15 per cent off the total. If a leather strap suits you better than a bracelet, the Day-Date on leather is a different route to the same face.
Delivery and the checks before it
We send 8 to 12 photos and a video of the assembled watch three to five business days after payment, and ship only after you approve them. Everything goes out free of charge with DHL or FedEx in a plain box, fully tracked, and our channel clears customs; a fee is rare and we refund it if one appears. Timings by country are on the shipping policy page. Unworn returns are accepted for 14 days after delivery. Other references are on the Day-Date collection page.
