Four quarters, Roman numerals
The close-up (photo 02) shows the dial divided into four sectors with lines running in different directions, so each quarter catches light differently. Roman numerals mark the hours. Photos 04 and 05 show a whiter dial where the pattern is hard to see; the quadrant texture on the main photo is what this listing offers. The bezel is fluted.

Case
White-tone 904L steel case and President bracelet, sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. The smooth-bezel ice blue Day-Date is the domed-bezel alternative. Plated gold tones are covered in what to expect from a plated Day-Date.
Movement
Japanese: a Miyota-based automatic, about 40 hours. Swiss: built to follow the original caliber, 28,800 vph, about 70 hours. Water: 30 m. For a plain silver dial with batons on the same white case, see the white-tone silver Day-Date with baton markers. More in the other Day-Date dials.
Is the quadrant pattern easy to see?
In angled light, yes: each quarter shines differently. Straight on and in soft light it can look almost plain silver.
