The Day-Date, known as the “President”, is the Rolex that shows the full day of the week in an arc-shaped window at 12 o'clock next to the date at 3. Our 75 Day-Dates follow that layout. The yellow and rose versions have a gold-plated finish over a 904L steel case, the white versions a white gold tone, and the platinum-tone models are steel with a platinum-coloured finish.

Why is the Rolex Day-Date called the “President”?
The nickname comes from the President bracelet Rolex designed for the Day-Date and from the heads of state who have worn the model. Most of our Day-Dates sit on a President-style bracelet with the same rounded three-piece links.
Is the gold on a Rolex Day-Date replica real gold?
