Here the dial and the counters are the same white, and the gold-tone rims around them draw three neat circles. Photo 02 shows the red DAYTONA script and the gold baton markers up close. Next to the black 116503 this one looks lighter and more formal. The newer generation with the same colours is the 126503-0001 white.

What the gold is

The bezel, crown, pushers and the middle row of bracelet links are yellow gold plating over 904L steel, while the case middle and outer links stay steel. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Rated to 30 m, it handles rain and washing hands.

Movements

Choose a Miyota-based Japanese automatic chronograph (21,600 vph, about 40 hours of reserve) or a Swiss movement that follows the 4130 chronograph (28,800 vph). Both run start, stop and reset.
