This 116503 dial combines black, gold and small stones. The counters are black inside gold-tone rings, eight stones in gold settings mark the hours, and gold-tone numerals 15, 30 and 45 sit beside the counters. It is the earlier-generation counterpart of the 126503 with gem-set markers, which has champagne counters instead of black.

Steel and gold on the outside

The case middle and outer bracelet links are 904L steel; the bezel with its engraved tachymeter, the crown, the pushers and the centre links are yellow gold-plated. The bracelet closes with a folding clasp, and the dial sits under sapphire with an anti-reflective coating. At 30 m it handles rain and hand washing, not the pool.
