Why it is called Ghost

The grey sunburst dial is close in tone to the white-tone case, so the dial seems to fade into the watch and the three black counters float on top. That effect gave the 126519LN its Ghost nickname among buyers. Compared with the black-dial 126519LN, which has steel counters on black, the colours are reversed.

Case, bezel and strap

The 40 mm case, crown, pushers and folding clasp are 904L steel in a white gold tone. The bezel is a black ceramic insert with the tachymeter scale, and the strap is black rubber. Sapphire with an anti-reflective coating covers the dial. Rated to 30 m, it is fine in the rain and while washing hands; leave it off for the pool and the shower.

Movement choice

The Japanese movement is a Miyota-based automatic chronograph, 21,600 vph, with about 40 hours of reserve. The Swiss one follows the 4130 chronograph at 28,800 vph.
