Most Daytonas use contrast counters. This 116508-0003 does the opposite: the counters are cut from the same champagne colour as the dial and only their ringed texture and gold-tone rims separate them. In the close-up photo the hour and minute hands have a dark inlay along the centre, which keeps them readable against the pale gold face, and DAYTONA is printed in red above the 6 o’clock counter.
