Pearl dial with stones

Mother of pearl changes from white to pale pink and grey as the watch turns, as photos 06 and 08 show, so no two angles look the same. Small stones mark the hours in place of batons. The 116523 champagne is the plain dial on this case, and the 116528 mother of pearl puts a similar dial in full yellow gold plating. For black counters on this case, see the 116523 white Arabic. Case and crystal

Steel parts are 904L, the bezel, crown, pushers and centre links are yellow gold plating over steel. The crystal is sapphire with an anti-reflective coating. It is rated to 30 m for rain and hand washing.

Movement

The 116523-0056 can be ordered with a Japanese Miyota-based automatic chronograph, 21,600 vph and about 40 hours, or a Swiss one following the 4130 chronograph at 28,800 vph.
