Metal bezel, racing dial

This is the older 116518 style: the tachymeter is engraved in a gold-plated metal bezel instead of a ceramic ring, and the dial uses Arabic numerals with black counters. Photo 03 shows the red tracks inside the counters. The ceramic-bezel version of this case is the 116518 black dial, and the white dial with a ceramic bezel keeps the colours but changes the bezel.

Plating, crystal and strap

The case and bezel are yellow gold-plated 904L steel; the crystal is sapphire with an anti-reflective coating. The strap is dark rubber with a gold-tone folding clasp. Rated to 30 m, it handles rain and washing hands.
