Where the standard GMT-Master II relies on steel and ceramic, this DiW All-Carbon variant replaces virtually every external surface with NTPT carbon fiber. The result is a stealth-aesthetic GMT that weighs significantly less than its metallic siblings while showcasing the layered wave pattern unique to North Thin Ply Technology — a material originally developed for competitive sailing masts and Formula 1 chassis components.

The DiW All Carbon Up Close: Case, Dial and Strap
Every surface is finished in the signature NTPT layered carbon, with striations flowing across the case, bezel and crown guards in a monochrome palette. The 40mm diameter remains true to the classic GMT-Master proportions while shaving noticeable weight thanks to the composite construction.
The black dial features luminous white markers and a red-tipped GMT hand that adds the only color accent to the otherwise murdered-out design. A black nylon strap extends the tactical look from case to clasp.

Movement Options: Swiss vs Japanese
Two caliber options power this carbon-framed traveler:
- Swiss Automatic — 28,800 vph, roughly 48-hour power reserve. Independent GMT hand mirrors genuine 3186-series functionality for rapid timezone switching without stopping the watch.
- Japanese Automatic (Miyota) — 21,600 vph, around 42-hour reserve. A dependable option with excellent day-to-day accuracy and affordable maintenance intervals.
Both calibers include quickset date and hacking seconds.
