Within the GMT-Master II family, the 126710BLRO earned the “Pepsi” nickname for its red-and-blue Cerachrom bezel — a color scheme that dates back to the original 1955 GMT-Master ref. 6542 developed for Pan Am pilots. Adding an iced-out diamond treatment to the Pepsi takes one of Rolex’s most recognizable designs and amplifies its visual impact several times over. This replica preserves the bicolor ceramic insert, the GMT complication, and the Oyster bracelet architecture while dressing every steel surface in stones.

The 126710BLRO Iced Out: Case, Dial and Bracelet
The hallmark of this piece is the bicolor Cerachrom insert — Rolex’s patented two-tone ceramic that transitions from vivid red (upper hemisphere) to deep blue (lower hemisphere) at the 6 and 18 hour positions. Surrounding this insert, a single row of diamonds frames the bezel, extending the gem treatment across the case flanks, between the lugs, and along the center bracelet links.
The black dial provides maximum contrast against both the colorful bezel and diamond surfaces. A triangular GMT hand tracks a second timezone against the 24-hour bezel scale. Browse additional Pepsi and iced configurations in our GMT-Master collection.
Movement Options: Swiss vs Japanese
The GMT complication is present in both movement options, enabling true dual-timezone tracking:
- Swiss Automatic — Caliber 3285 spec at 28,800 vph featuring an independently adjustable hour hand for local time changes. Approximately 70-hour reserve. Paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring.
- Japanese Automatic — GMT-functional caliber at 21,600 vph with approximately 42-hour reserve. Hacking seconds, quickset date, and dependable dual-timezone capability for frequent travelers.
Combined with the 24-hour bezel, both movements allow simultaneous monitoring of three timezones.
