Index means batons rather than numerals, and on this chocolate dial they are rose tone with luminous fill. The three counters are black with thin rose rings, which gives the brown dial a darker centre. Compared with the 116505 brown Arabic, it is the simpler, more traditional face.

From the 116505 to the 126505

The newer 126505 with a chocolate dial keeps the same colours on an updated case. This 116505-0013 has the rose gold-plated 904L steel case, engraved metal tachymeter bezel and three-link Oyster bracelet with folding clasp, and sapphire with an anti-reflective coating over the dial. Rated to 30 m, it covers rain and hand washing, not the pool.

Movement options

The Japanese movement is a Miyota-based automatic chronograph at 21,600 vph with about 40 hours of reserve. The Swiss movement follows the 4130 chronograph at 28,800 vph.
