Three details set the 126529LN apart from other black-dial Daytonas. The counter at 9 carries a 24-hour scale instead of 12, the tachymeter scale on the black ceramic bezel ends in a red 100, and the three counters are white with black scales on a black dial. DAYTONA is printed in red above the lower counter. That 24-hour counter at 9 works on this watch. The 126500LN Panda shows the opposite colour scheme in steel.

A display caseback

On our gallery photos the caseback is transparent, so the movement and its gold-tone rotor are visible. The 40 mm case and the three-link Oyster bracelet are 904L steel in a white gold tone, with a folding clasp, and sapphire with anti-reflective coating covers the dial. It is rated to 30 m, which is fine for rain and hand washing, not for the pool.

Movement choice

You can order it with the Japanese movement, a Miyota-based automatic chronograph at 21,600 vph with about 40 hours of reserve, or with the Swiss movement at 28,800 vph.
